MSA is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Undergraduate Research Scholarship Program.
For more than 25 years, this program has supported undergraduate students pursuing research projects involving the use of any microscopy technique. To date, over 100 projects across the physical and biological sciences have received funding, helping students advance their education and research potential while fostering long-term interest in imaging and analytical sciences.
Scholarship Highlights:
- Maximum award: $3,000
- Supports: student stipends, supplies, and limited travel expenses
- Matching support provided by MSA Sustaining Members and individuals
- Application deadline: December 1, 2025 (for awards to be used in 2026)
Thanks to the generous support of MSA members and partners, the program funds over 50% of applicants each year.
